Our History
In 2012, after years of working on Wall Street, Paul Sydlansky, CFP®, and his wife realized the lifestyle wasn’t working for their growing family. They wanted more time together—and more control over how they lived their lives.
That’s when his in-laws introduced him to a quiet cottage on East Lake Road, tucked along Keuka Lake. To Paul, Lake Road was more than a scenic getaway. It was a glimpse into the kind of life Paul wanted: slower, more connected, and one where time with family came first.
That vision became the foundation for Lake Road Advisors, a firm dedicated to helping other families organize their finances so they can spend more time on the people and experiences that matter most.
